Lacey Square N Squares

I designed Lacey Square N Squares in EQ8. It was with using my scraps in mind. I'm trying to reduce my scrap bins😀 and sometimes that seems to be impossible. But it is going down slowly but surely😣.

The lacey border is fusible appliqued. The blocks measures 3" finished. The quilt finished size is 18" x 18".

Details of the quilting.

Here at right is the quilting detail.

I had leftover blocks and used them for my label. I just love back art!

This is the first quilt completed since foot surgery. Not bad... still a long way to full recovery.

Funky Rooster Goes To Paris

Funky Rooster Goes to Paris quilt is now complete. It measures  24 1/4" x 26 3/8". I love how it turned out. I used freeze paper piecing method by Ann Shaw. Funky Rooster was completed in October 2017. This was the last quilt I completed before foot. Surgery.

I am back sewing slowly. But I will have more quilts to show this year.

Now go sew and make someone HAPPY!

World's Smallest Windmill

Quilt Details
The World's Smallest Windmill was completed in August 2017. The quilt template is known to be the world's smallest template. This quilt has been part of my UFO pile for many years. What kept me from completing it was the quilting. I didn't know what quilt design I wanted to use. But as it resurfaced, I spent time with it and was determine to complete it. The quilt finished size is 9 1/2" x 11 1/2". Because of its size, I may frame it instead of  adding a sleeve.  Not sure just yet.

To the right, I show how small the template is for the windmill blocks. As you can see, 1/4th of the block is almost as small as penny.

Now, go sew and make someone HAPPY!
